The 2016 election and Maine’s historic adoption of ranked choice voting statewide have brought more attention to electoral reform than ever before. New York is one state with great need and potential for reform this year, and The Gotham Center for New York City History at the Graduate Center, CUNY is putting together “Fixing Elections: The Politics of Electoral Reform in NYC, Then and Now” on Wednesday, April 5.
FairVote co-founder and Executive Director Rob Richie will be a part of the panel, discussing the ways ranked choice voting can improve election turnout and increase choice for New York voters. We’d love to see you there!
