In a June 2 segment on Anderson Cooper 360°, Republican U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger (IL-16) shared his support for ranked choice voting as a way to combat the rampant partisanship of modern politics.
“We need people to demand better of their leaders, and I think we need to implement things like ranked choice voting to get out of this system where 10% of a Congressional district elects their Congressional representative,” Kinzinger said. “We can sit back and demonize the other side only, or we can solve problems.”
