Margot Robbie as Tonya Harding in “I, Tonya”
This is Robbie’s first nomination.
Saoirse Ronan as “Lady Bird” McPherson in “Lady Bird”
This is Ronan’s third nomination.
Meryl Streep as Katharine Graham in “The Post”
This is Streep’s 21st nomination. She is a three-time winner: Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in “Kramer vs. Kramer” (1980); Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in “Sophie’s Choice” (1983) and Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in “The Iron Lady” (2012).
