Nadia Tawfiq

Nadia is a program coordinator supporting electoral reform efforts. Most recently Nadia served as a field organizer on the Beto for Texas Campaign where she built a grassroots campaign of volunteers across Houston. Prior to the campaign, Nadia was a program associate for the American Association for the Advancement of Science where she facilitated international STEM entrepreneurship competitions. 

A graduate of Austin College, Nadia holds dual degrees in political science and sociology.

A record 23 cities have opted in to hold RCV elections in 2021, including Salt Lake City, which boasts a population of nearly 200,000. This nearly doubles the number of cities using RCV in the US.
