Isaac Katz

Isaac is currently a student at Georgetown University Law Center. He graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in History. Before starting his J.D., he worked as a paralegal for Katz, Marshall & Banks, a plaintiff-side employment discrimination and whistleblower protection firm in Washington, DC, as well as for Mary Meadows, Esq., whose practice focused on Social Security disability appeals. Isaac also worked as the Communications Associate for Resolve Network, an international non-profit dedicated to grassroots peacebuilding and microfinance cooperatives. He has volunteered for local and national election campaigns. In his spare time, Isaac enjoys science fiction, tabletop and video gaming, cooking, and music.

Meet The Team: Isaac Katz

I am a law student at Georgetown University Law Center. I have questioned the logic of the U.S. electoral system since my middle school civics class. I watched the frustration and chaos boiling over during the 2000 presidential election – the first election I can remember - and found it hard to accept that any system that elected leaders without a popular majority could truly represent the will of the people.
