Hendrik Hertzberg is a 2017 Democracy Champion Awardee! He will be receiving this award at the FairVote 25th Anniversary celebration on November 13th. Hertzberg was a White House chief speechwriter, senior editor at the New Republic and New Yorker and one of the nation’s great essayist. He’s written trailblazing essays about proportional representation, ranked choice voting and a democracy that works for all of us.
