Christopher Rhode

Christopher Rhode is a research and elections administration intern at FairVote. Christopher grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona and graduated from Northern Arizona University with an B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Law in 2016. He is currently a graduate student at NAU and is a candidate for Master’s degree in Public Administration in May, 2018. In his academic work, Christopher has written on the subjects of alternative voting methods, nonprofit administration, and ethics in law enforcement practices.  

Aside from his work at NAU, Christopher has been involved in politics and government in numerous organizations. Since 2013, Christopher is a volunteer at Arizona Boys State through the American Legion, where he helps to teach government institutions and processes to high school seniors. In 2015, he worked for the Republican Party in the Arizona State Senate, where he was assigned to four standing committees, including the Committees on Appropriations and Government. As a youth care worker at the Coconino County Juvenile Court, he worked to implement a justice program that teaches life skills to delinquent juveniles. Christopher has also worked in the district office of Congressman Tom O’Halleran.
