Brittany is a New Jersey native who graduated from American University in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science and CLEG (Communications, Legal Studies, Economics, and Government). After graduation, she worked on Capitol Hill before joining the Peace Corps in 2013. Brittany served as an English teacher trainer in rural Costa Rica from 2013-2015 where she was awarded a CRUSA grant to hold two summer English camps for students entering high school, conducted spelling bees, held a girls empowerment workshop for 5th graders, taught community English classes, and spear-headed a project to standardize national English lesson plans. Brittany matriculated at Georgetown Law in the Fall of 2015, where she enjoys playing softball and volleyball and is the vice-president of the OutLaw organization.
