The Results Are In and Electoral Reform Wins

Tuesday was a big night for IRV and choice voting. The returns look good for Pierce County, Oakland, Minneapolis, and Davis. All measures passed! Check back often for the final results.

Pierce County 53% Oakland 67% Minneapolis 65% Davis 55%

One thing is clear: voters want electoral reform. Let's see more ballot measures like these in 2008.

  • Great to hear! We need IRV badly in this country. We're far too big and diverse to entrust our rights, decisions, and tax dollars to a two-party duopoly--which is looking more like a monopoly every year. I just found your website by accident. This is an excellent source of info on election history and reform. Are you affiliated with Verified Voting at all?
