Take Action: RCV in Montgomery County

This session, the Maryland's state legislature has an opportunity to pass HB 1116, a local bill that would allow the Montgomery County Council to adopt ranked choice voting (RCV) for special elections.

Ranked choice voting is a simple change that can go a long way in giving voters more choice, and a stronger voice in Montgomery County elections. Progress comes in fits and starts, and this local bill is an important first step in advancing RCV in the county and more broadly across the state of Maryland. Please take a moment and tell your legislator that you care about ranked choice voting, and they should too!
