Ryan Healy

Ryan Healy works primarily within the Research Department, joining to pursue an active interest in electoral reform. As a research intern many of his tasks involve gathering data and compiling reports. Ryan is currently a freshman at American University aiming to double major in international service and political science. A true Jersey boy at heart, Ryan left behind the bustle of the Northeast to explore the political hotbed of DC. When not at work, Ryan enjoys exploring the streets of Washington DC, cheering on the New York Mets and trying out new kinds of food.

Ranked Choice Voting Around the World in October

Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) is commonly used around the world to democratically elect officials more fairly than plurality. In September and October, millions of our friends in the Land of the Long White Cloud and Down Under both used RCV to elect local officials.
