Dorothy Scheeline is currently a Democracy Fellow at FairVote, where she focuses on advocacy and organizing. Before moving to D.C., she was a Policy Advocate at MassVOTE, an organization that advocates for more civic engagement of historically underrepresented groups in Massachusetts.She was also a 2010 Politicorps Fellow at The Bus Project in Portland, OR, where she registered people to vote and organized around local issues including campaign finance reform and marriage equality. She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, with a Bachelor's in Political Science. At Northeastern she was heavily involved with student organizing and activism around fair labor practices on campus. She originally hails from Champaign, IL.
