Gabriel is a rising junior at the College of William and Mary, majoring in government and minoring in economics. He hopes to go to law school after college. Gabriel grew up in Bethesda, Md., where he attended Georgetown Prep. In his free time Gabriel enjoys running and wrestling. As a Boy Scout, Gabriel achieved the rank of Eagle, just prior to his 18th birthday. Studying government at a liberal arts school in southern Virginia has been a revelatory experience. He’s noticed our country’s polarized politics, where people are far too often forced to simplify their broad spectrum of beliefs into two choices, placing them at odds with each other. By working at Fairvote, Gabriel hopes to help create a system that meets the needs of the public, instead of having the public being forced to meet the needs of the system.
