What would Jesus do in Indiana? Well, he wouldn’t vote without identification.
According to the Associated Press, 12 retired nuns took their soles to the poll only to be denied because they lacked photo IDs.
The nuns, who voted for years without incident went to their assigned polling precinct in South Bend, Indiana were denied because one the nation’s toughest law, which the Supreme Court upheld by a 6-3 vote, requiring every voter to produce a state-issued photo ID card. The nuns were frustrated and when other retired nuns heard about their sister’s plight decided not to vote.
The Supreme Court decision was wrong — now they may have to deal with the Supreme Power.
