FairVote’s Ryan O’Donnell swooped into Rice University today to discuss the changing state of presidential primaries, along with Dr. Jerrold Rusk, who wrote the much-cited Statistical History of the American Electorate. The panel was part of the Baker Institute of Public Policy’s Student Forum series.

Despite losing his luggage in transit and appearing in ill-fitting clothing purchased desperately at the last minute, O’Donnell was pleased to find a large crowd of engaged and thoughtful students who seemed to share the same sentiment– fix those primaries!
