Jack Santucci was FairVote staff from 2005-07.
A year later, I’m here again at the Take Back America conference in Washington, DC. It’s been a good first three hours.
Redante from An Ordinary Person and Politics in America stopped by to say hello. He’s been blogging the National Popular Vote effort and other FairVote issues.
Speaking of National Popular Vote, MD State Senator Jamin Raskin (D-20) speaks to a “self-organizing” group on the NPV effort this afternoon at 5:15 in room 1.
12 months ago, NPV was a novel idea. Today we can report ratification in Maryland, looming ratification in at least one more state, widespread knowledge of the compact… and a panel discussion dedicated to it.
