Hi, I’m Alyssa Pooler, a rising third year student at Villanova University in the joint JD/Master of Public Administration program and a new legal intern with FairVote’s Law and Policy department.
Alyssa Pooler is an intern with FairVote’s Law and Policy team. She is a rising third year student at Villanova University in the joint JD/Master of Public Administration program and holds a B.A. in International Relations from Boston University. At Villanova, Pooler has served on the boards of 3L Legacy Gift Committee, Women’s Law Caucus and Pro Bono Society.
After graduation, Pooler is interested in pursuing a career in election law policy, continuing her work in breaking down the systemic environment that marginalizes Americans. She has previously worked for Demos, Congressman Robert Brady, the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on House Administration, and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office. When Pooler isn’t talking about election law, she can be found trying new workout studios or restaurants with friends or at her favorite DC coffee shop, Compass Coffee.
